Burial mound?

Back to Allanton this evening for Morris practice - the last before our summer season starts on 1 May when we'll dance the sun up, at round 5.28am, in Berwick-upon-Tweed. (At least we hope to see the sun - last year, on the causeway to Lindisfarne, we danced in torrential rain and a strong wind!)

On the way we passed this mound topped with trees, near Whitsome. It looks as though it should have some archaeological significance - a burial mound, perhaps - but we can find nothing about it on local maps (or Google...). There are several like it in the area.
