Something special!?

Ok, so, the current chairman of the permanent committee of the Belgian Road Research Centre or BRRC (where I work) asked for something special to give to his successor...
... So this is it, it consists of a piece of concrete (bottom), a piece of asphalt (top), fixed with resin, and a key in the shape of our logo...
... It's a bit special, but also a bit weird, i don't know...
