8 Turtles.....

.....sunning themselves on a log! 
  I wish I could say that I spotted the turtles & took this on purpose, but I'd been taking pictures of the ducks & the geese that were closer to the side of the lagoon where I was standing, & I didn't have my glasses on. I could see "bumps" at the far end of the lagoon, but thought they were  clumps of mud. I loved the bit of bright, almost coppery color at the far side of the lagoon & the reflection  of that color in the water, so I took a couple pictures. Imagine my surprise when I put the pictures on the computer & saw that the "mud" was actually all these turtles! I cropped the picture a bit to see them better---guess it pays to wear the glasses occasionally!!   :))
