6 babies

Luckily it was a busy day at work, so time flew and it was soon time to take the boys for a walk along Køge Å (stream) before meeting with Helle at the vets for Jazz' baby x-ray.

Today is 49th day of the pregnancy and it was the absolute earliest day for an x-ray as the puppies' bones need to develope enough to show up on the picture.

And it was early - the puppies only showed up as shadows, but Helle and I have googled x-rays of pregnant bitches and practised counting head skulls, so it took us seconds to count at 6 babies. 

The extra picture today is the same as the blip, but with a red circle to mark each head.
 
2 more weeks to go and then we should be able to sit with the puppies in our hands and cuddle them :-)
