Manchester Cathedral

I visited Manchester yesterday. What a great city! There were many photos to choose from for my Blip, as there are so many interesting buildings - new and old.

I settled on this one of the stained glass window, which had the most amazing red and orange colours, especially with the light pouring through. The red and orange reflection on the floor really caught my eye.

High iso on the D90 is not so good, so as the shot was hand held, and I kept iso lowish, it's not quite as sharp as I'd have liked due to a slow shutter speed. I still love the atmosphere of it though which is why I have shared it
