Borough Gardens

Another trip to Dorchester, but to the dentist for a check-up this time.  Afterwards I did some shopping and walked through the Borough Gardens: the land for which was bought in 1895 by the Mayor of Dorchester, George James Gregory Gregory JP, for the pleasure of the townspeople.  They were opened in 1896 and the bandstand built in 1898.
