from Loughrigg

A day of April showers which were mostly of sleet and hail. I got my winter clothes out for a walk onto Loughrigg. ...... a wise decision.  A little fresh snow on the tops as you can see in this shot looking towards Fairfield. 

The Goldcrest has made a few more brief appearances in the Silver Birch and today there was a Greenfinch on the feeder. Always good to see different birds in the garden :)
