The falling leaves drift by . . .

my classroom.  Today I had all morning with five year olds.  They are cute and demanding but they do take drawing very seriously.  I gave them black markers to draw the leaves they had collected from the school field.  I thought they showed good fine motor skills.  Next week we will go wild with crayons and pastels and dye to make colourful leaves.
