Today we had to drive to Wasilla, a town about 180 miles away, to pick up a piece of equipment. This part of the highway follows the shore of Turnagain Arm, so named because supposedly when Captain Cook (he really got around!) was trying to find a passageway, he sailed up this waterway from Cook Inlet and had to turn around because there was o way through.
