Have a seat Shug
Have a seat Shug, What's on your mind? This bench is along the River Walk and I love the "name plaque" on it!
I was down at the community college first thing this morning, talking to the daytime nursing students about living with MS. Since I was already downtown, I decided to walk along the River Walk.
When you eat at the restaurants along the docks, you see these signs. That didn't stop the women and their daughter's beside me from doing just that.
As always, there was plenty to take photos of. Old river craft debris. Downtown Water St. A tug coming in from a job. The old Brooks building. The Battleship. The building downtown that Wyland painted years ago. The colours have faded some but it's still a great painting. Copper wind art. The horse drawn tours of historic downtown. These are rescue horses that live on a wonderful farm outside of town along with several other sets that are traded out each day. The Henrietta III off on one of it's many daily river tours.
It was a gorgeous day and a little on the cool side, which was more than fine by me! Tomorrow is to be yucky. :(
