The old diary can be seen in the distance. This is where the dogs great friend Freya lives and they know it. They stand gazing up towards the house with great longing in their eyes. Sometimes Freya seems to sense that they are there too, we can hear her barking at them. I know that one of these days Bud is going to think "What the ......., I'm off visiting." But that day has not yet come.

A quiet day at the hospice, very few customers in the café. At least I had time to catch up with the news from fellow volunteers. We shall miss it when the builders come in next month and the place is closed for modernisation.
