Camera Club

A further bit of playing with flash and portraiture at the club tonight.

Phil Hawley, a local photographer came to talk about his work and how he came to be a photographer, with a small demo. We then played with on and off camera speedlight, with Nina here wanting to learn how her on camera flash worked.

It is interesting at the camera club, when you speak to a relatively new photographer you come to realise perhaps how much you think you know.

I have used my first extra picture today. It is of Phil Hawley, the local photographer. Caught with the speedlight, rim lit, it was difficult to choose which picture to use.
