Buttercups by the lake

A beautiful sunny morning gave way to more cloud cover in the afternoon, though it remained quite bright. I went for a walk around the lake at Samoreau in the afternoon to get my blip. There was quite a cacophony of sound coming from frogs around this end of the lake. Down towards the other end I saw a new family of coots. Unfortunately I couldn't get in a position to get a good photograph of them, so instead you get a photograph of the carpet of buttercups along the lake edge.
