Ullswater

Day 4 of the Westmoreland Way, from Pooley Bridge to Patterdale.

We skipped the first part of the walk and took the Ullswater steamer to Howtown. With the strength of the cold wind I think we made the right choice to avoid the highest ground. After an early rain and hail shower we had a good deal of sunshine until it rained again in Patterdale.

There were some great views on the way, so I am glad of the new extra blips facility.
