Up, up and away

This morning was a mad rush as i had to finish off packing for our trip to Windermere and i also wanted to drop off my gift for Atticus. I managed to get it there in one piece and after seeing this photo, i was relieved to find out he fitted inside :)

Sundip arrived and we had lunch and packed the last few bits from the fridge. The train to Windermere was quick and fairly empty, and the cottage was easy to get to from the station. It had a really nice, big kitchen and decent sized rooms, and most importantly, a fireplace! We bought some logs and matches from the supermarket and settled in for the night in front of the fire.
