Commemorative tree

This tableau depicts the granting of a Royal Market Charter to Tavistock in 1105 and the "Extra" provides a little more background info. We were in Tavistock this afternoon for little retail therapy; it's always a pleasant place to visit but there was a chilly breeze blowing and rain seemed never to be too far away.
