Through

the kitchen window this morning.  Missed a day again . There will be local events happening over the summer that I might get out and snap some blips. May: Chrome in the Dome and Blast from the Past in Alpine.  The John Wayne foundation is allowing Eagar to put on a John Wayne Days event in June.  John Wayne was half owner of the 26Bar Ranch and visited the area often in the 1960s.  Then of course in July there are the Independence Day celebrations including a parade, rodeo and fireworks.  August brings Eagar Daze and a bluegrass concert in Alpine.  There'll be music in Greer too.  September is the time for the county fair in St Johns and the Outlaw Trail ATV Jamboree.  Of course there's no guarantee  I'll attend all the events going on.


       Going to Show Low today to get out of the house as sister-in-law Chris has to go pick up some medications.
