Su

After school Department Head's meeting was probably the shortest on record so I took the opportunity of some unexpected free time to go and watch the 'RC Singers' rehearse before going to the vet to give him a third of a month's salary for (successfully) tending to a very sick semi feral campus cat that I had caught and taken to him at the end of last month.  Great value I say.  Would that all lives could be saved for so little.   

Anyway, this is Su.  A senior, she graduates this June and has been accepted to study music at Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts.  Her passion and strength is singing jazz, and she has won two prestigious competitions in Istanbul. In 2014  the Arif Mardin Music Fellowship, and this year she won the Nardis Jazz Vocal Competition.  Go Girl!! 

I took several photos while watching the singers practising, including quite a few of the normally smiling Su and I am very annoyed to get home and discover that every single photo is slightly out of focus, and I don't know why cos they looked ok at the time..... *sigh*
