Another spot of color

Dear Diary,

It has been a very slow start for the garden this spring.  These three little crocus bravely offer their bit of color.  A couple of daffodils look almost ready to bloom.  The temperature has been very cool so far this week but they are promising more mild temps later this week.

Repairs have started on the house and it appears it will be a bit more that I had thought.  So, at 3 am this morning I decided (these sorts of things keep me awake!) I will postpone my trip to Dutchess County next month to finish researching my family.  "First things first" I can hear my grandmother saying.  I am disappointed but these things have to be done.  It can't always be fun and games!
