It's been a fireside sort of day...

but despite that , between showers and blustery winds, I've managed to launder the sheepskin carseat covers and get them partly dry on the line, scrub down a couple of benches in the garden, do a couple of hours in the stitching cave and even sneak an hour's reading.
Tarawera Times saddlery team produced this marvellous leather wood carrier and the fire screen was the first tapestry I ever worked (while expecting my elder daughter) , now 40 years ago.
