First Night of T-ball

I have a feeling that I am going to be taking a lot of baseball pictures this Spring and Summer. Baseball pictures of 4 year old ballplayers.

It is called an instructional league, and it is VERY instructional.

Most of the kids hit the ball fairly well, but had to be "encouraged" to run to first, instead of admiring their hit. And, when they were in the field, they had to be "encouraged" to throw the ball to first base.

Speaking of encouragement, I thought all 4 coaches did a great job of talking up their players...giving them praises and high fives. Good to see.

I was proud of Merrick for a few things. 1. He smacked the ball hard twice. 2. He was listening hard to his daddy Doug (the pic where he is on second base.) 3. He learned that...when you're on a ball diamond...you got's to learn how to scratch yourself.

The thing the boys enjoy the most? Naturally, the treats after the game.
