Left home by boat at 8.00am, took our van from Te Mahia and went to see Crai. Sitting up in bed giving everyone cheek and 'firing on all cylinders' as we say about him. The leg has gone down a bit since we saw it on Thursday, and they are draining it.
Fly from Blenheim to Christchurch, where I met my brother and his wife for lunch at the airport. Lovely to see them again, J just back from another trip to Samoa where he has been building canoes. Their group has been asked to go to Vanatu to build canoes for them there, after the cycone went through recently.
Plane was nearly an hour later getting to Brisbane due to a very strong head wind. My daughter picked me up from the airport, so that was good as I didn't have to worry about getting a shuttle to her place.
