After trying to figure out a computer issue we headed to Marymoor park to see the herons..

As we walked the trail may various birds were seen and photographed 

I had several really nice heron shots, including a fuzzy young one with a fully manual but good telephoto lens

Then we headed for a wonderful lunch

After we headed to the University of Washington Arboretum to see the duck pond..

This is where we spotted this beautiful wood duck..
