Waiting

I have about 10 buds on this red cactus that is probably about 25 years old.  I really need to change the dirt but I am afraid it would die.    It usually blooms in April/May and then again in November/December.    

This was my Mom's cactus and she has been gone for 7 years; I think she must be watching out for it as she knew how much of a brown thumb I have!

I am going to give it a little plant food and hope it will fill up with buds.
