broken limbs

The sun faded just as I entered Moorlands Nature Reserve close to York this afternoon after a lovely morning and early afternoon. It made not a jot of difference though, as this is a great place to be whatever the weather. I went out on a limb and branched off the main track to take this photo of discarded branches piled up in a secluded corner. Plenty of possible blips on this site and I had a plethora of images to go for tonight, but this was my favourite. It warrants a further visit in the near future.
