Abstract doodles...

We had snow again today....looking back thro previous years blips...i can safely say this is the longest we had such a huge amount of snow still covering the ground...it's insane!   enough already!!!

Yesterday i did some smaller pieces...sort of doodles...well the smaller one on the bottom for sure was just a bit of doodling around as i watched a pastel artist demo on video!  i love watching these demos, it's the mainstay of my education in this medium!   So while i'm watching i grab a piece of my sanded paper and doodle.   Then later in the day before heading to get dinner ready, i poured myself a wee Cuban rum and played! that would be the top one!    very satisfying!

A slow day in the mudroom....some friends dropped by early....9am....for a visit....and i seem to have strained my thumb....which is a real bummer!
