Istanbul not Constantinople

At last - after a day which started at 04:30, and just getting off the motorway before a crash blocked it, we finally arrived at our hotel at around 19:30. Whoever said " it is better to travel than to arrive" obviously didn't have a stressful journey! Lovely hotel in lovely area, lovely walk round the Sultanahmet area then dinner in a little Turkish restaurant. Been up 19 hours now, so turning in now ready for an early start tomorrow.
