Wow!
Wednesday was spent mooching around, not particularly accomplishing a lot and being pretty content with that.
In the evening I met my old flame S again (see Monday's blip - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2037050069932313413) and this time we did not start off on our best behaviour. Sometimes it's refreshing to be reminded why breaking up with someone was such a good decision. We regained some composure and went for dinner near Shibuya. It was fine.
Afterwards S asked 'would you like to go to the Lost in Translation bar?' Without really thinking, I said 'sure!' What a good suggestion and decision. The bar is on the 52nd floor of a swish hotel and is so damn cool. A fabulous jazz quartet played, led by Scotty Wright. They were so tight and in step with one another. I felt magnetically drawn to the music. This was exactly the sort of place I wouldn't have gone to on my own (even if I had remembered it) and exactly the sort of place I wanted to be in.
The whisky selection was extensive and I had a 20 year old Yoichi which was sublime. I don't know when I'll have another...
A day that started rather ordinarily ended rather extraordinarily!
Last time (for a least a day): extras on Flickr ...

Back blips start here!
I promise to try to read your journals from tomorrow. Jet lag is kicking in so until tomorrow, dear blip chums.
