Nettle..

...and the corresponding element of nettle is fire.

It is thought the Romans, because of our damp climate, used nettles to chastise themselves in order to increase their circulation. The stinging wild nettles made them feel as though they were on 'fire' and warmed them up.

Nettle tea can be taken when working through spiritual and emotional ordeals to use the power of fire to transform discomfort to spiritual advancement.

And, nettles grow quite well after being burnt down by fire.
