Spiraea
Overnight frost damaged magnolia flowers and the new red foliage on the Pieris. It was cold again until the sun came out, which it did intermittently. I moved some clumps of campanula to a more prominent spot in the front border and a ligularia out to another border, then thought I'd better leave everything in place as there's a risk of frost again tonight. So I just weeded in the back garden, working in the first border. This spiraea is one of two either side of a short access path. It's not quite fully in leaf but looked lovely in the intermittent sun.
