This little piggy.....
was in the cloisters at Gloucester Cathedral today!
Yes she is a Gloucester Old Spot and is part of an exhibition of Art in the cloisters of the cathedral. We met our friends in the coffee shop and then toured the cathedral, including the crypt.
Later we walked on to Gloucester Quays where most of the old buildings have been restored and there were some interesting tall ships in dock including some undergoing repairs. They've made a great job of this redevelopment.
I've not been before and it was a great place to wander around, have lunch and a catch up.
It was a lovely sunny morning but again quite cool, later as we left it started to cloud up and I spotted a dramatic cloud formation above the bright coloured rape fields as we crossed the Mendips through Stroud to Tebury where we stopped for tea and cake. ( Well we are on holiday!)
You can see this in my extras today as well as a lovely Apple blossom tree in front of the cathedral
