Firewood Delivery

I was told the 13 tons of firewood was going to be delivered after lunch. It finally arrived at 20 to 10. So it was unloaded by moonlight and spotlight. This is the first time I've ordered wood directly from the forestry. The lorry was enormous and I got the driver to check he could get up here before he attempted the track.

Aedan had to cut a couple of the lower branches on the big sycamore in the yard so it could unload.

I had all of 3 minutes sitting in my deckchair ( my sister gave it to me 2 Christmasses ago) which was an improvement on yesterday. I have a busy day tomorrow with far too many students coming for classes.
