Early-Purple Orchid

There is a verge near me that is protected and managed by The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. A week ago there was no trace of the orchids that grow there but today there were loads of them! What a beautiful sight. I also saw a Whitethroat which I have added as an additional photo. Spring is unstoppable now as the migrant birds arrive.
