A short walk

A lovely short walk to the woods in warm sunshine out of the light breeze .

Nature Notes
1. A pair of blackbirds are nesting in the garden, first time in 40yrs ,there were 3 chicks and 1 egg now only 2 chicks , I fear for their survival as the nest is clearly visible through a large hole in the small conifer in which they have made their nest. There are a lot of magpies and a few rats with bushy tails about.

2. Another 1st is a Great tits nest .

3. I heard a pitter patter sound from the bay window ,there was a magpie walking along the widow sill, yet another first .
