Brunton Terrace

Never mind the 4 season ins one day, never mind the 4 seasons in one hour.

As I sat (briefly) atop Edinburgh's premier extinct volcano, there were four seasons at the same time. To the north, the summery glow of sunshine on the gentle rippling sea at Portobello; grim sheets of autumnal rain over Cramond, winter sleet full in the face on Arthur's Seat - and me in shorts, too! and the sharp brightness of spring somewhere off in a Sheriffhall direction.

En route to meet climbing bud Baz, I stopped to nab this one. Having spent some time at the allotment planting tatties, I felt I'd earned a ten minute Cig(s)break along London Road.....

This one sometimes sits on the other side of the street, faces the other way. You just never know how you're going to find it from one visit to the next. Cigs - living on the edge.
