Leaving Death Valley

And planning to return; maybe as soon as next February. Now we head on to San Diego for a week of babysitting, for me; Eric will fly home for the week, returning for the drive up home to Portland. Does that make sense? Well, whether or not it makes sense sense, does my sentence make sense.
