Temperature recorded in Tucson just before noon. As I drove north to an elevation 1000 ft higher, the temperature dropped 3 degrees.

Forecast is for a record 107 in Tucson. Glad we live 1000 ft higher. At 4 pm at our home, temp is 104 so it would appear that Tucson will break their record.
