Revisiting the Costa Brava

I was last in Lloret de Mar in 1977, as a student in search of cheap drink and nightlife, and I never expected to return. But this year's TBEX (Travel Bloggers Exchange) is in Lloret, with the aim of promoting the region as being rather more than sand and sangria. So here I am, in an apartment close to the seafront, ready to go out and see what has changed.

We had a short evening walk along the coast. Just beyond the castle was a very tempting looking coastal path, which hopefully we will explore further later in the week.
