Hospital

Day surgery today.

Dropped the little one off at nursery and headed up to the hospital armed with my kindle and the prospect of a 4 hour admission.

8.45 arrived at hospital
8.55 waiting in pre op
9.05 given sexy paper dress and some non slip rocks
Bit of a read...
9.30 given anaesthetic after having a map drawn on my hand
Bit more of a read...
9.55 surgery
10.something thorn removed, stitches in and the biggest dressing in the universe applied.
10.30 discharged and waiting for my ride home.

And thats how private hospitals roll. I'm tempted for long term...
