The Intimidator
Earlier this afternoon I saw this big guy come steaming into an area of the marsh we call 'baby cove' because it's where several of the little alligators (four feet and under) generally live.
The idea behind keeping to that section is that the youngsters will hopefully remain off the radar screen of the larger alligators which is a good plan if you ever wish to grow up to be a big boy some day.
At this point, the head gator in charge proceeded to lift up his head and open his mouth wide in a display of dominance.
In the background you can see one of the small, frightened alligators.
Mister Big chased two little guys off before concluding that portion of his day.
