Flatiron Building

One of the first skyscrapers in the city and for a while one of the tallest. built in 1902.

Here I'm looking down on it from the observation deck on the Empire State Building.

Last time I visited NYC I did Top of the Rock. both are well worth doing and each had its advantages and disadvantages. If choosing only one I would recommend Top of the Rock although I believe the Empire State Building at 1 am is fabulous.

Well after the cold winds 2 days ago I had to invest in sun tan lotion today as I'm walking around looking like a tangerine!
