New Leaves

Today I braved the weather forecast and went to Brandon Country Park, which is part of Thetford Forest.  The forest was full of delicate new growth, but I found it surprisingly difficult to come up with a satisfactory composition. It's definitely a place I will be returning to.

This effect was created in camera, by rotating the focus ring during the exposure. It's a more subtle effect than using the zoom, which is the other way of doing it. This processing effort attempts to capture the greens but I'm not entirely happy with it. I think I prefer the mono I've posted.

Oh, and the rain held off until I was back in the car... :)
