Blowing a Gale

After such a bright, but chilly day,  going up to Scammonden was probably not the cleverest idea, as even on the warmest days the temperature up there can be degrees lower - and the wind seems ever present. 

Bearing that in mind and with a sky that looked threatening I didn't stay longer than I had to.   I must admit though, that even if the weather is often harsh up there the landscape has a beauty all its own.
