Wendy house

At the tail end of a damp, chilly day, the sun suddenly cast a brief golden glow over the garden. It highlighted how lush it looks with the recent rapid spring growth.

This little Wendy house is over 20 years old. We installed it as a present for our daughter's fifth birthday. A long ribbon led from her birthday card to the French windows, and when we opened the curtains for her, there it was! It's almost time now for its annual coat of wood preservative.
