Swanning Around

This swan was hanging around on the River Nene as it passes by the Britannia Inn, Northampton, hoping for a free lunch. If it had been a sunny day the outdoor tables lining the river bank would have been full; however, it's been cold and grey so few customers ventured outdoors.

I'm off to Aus again on Tuesday next (yes, again!) for granddaughter Sally's 13th birthday - and to meet my fourth grandchild for the first time! Little Alfie was born on April 9th. It'll be a quick two-week trip.
