Spires

I took a very quick detour on my way home from work this morning to the centre of Newcastle.  I spotted these two landmarks on the skyline set against the blue sky and thought they might make a good blip.  I just had my wee compact camera with me and it was really difficult to see the viewfinder as the sun was so bright!  

On the left of the picture is the tower of the Newcastle Civic Centre and on the right is St Thomas the Martyr church.
