More lilac

The lilac, which is actually in next door's garden but of which we get all the benefit, looked lovely against the blue sky today. 

I sat out in the garden (with two jumpers on!) reading Kate Hamer's "The Girl in the Red Coat" - the author is coming to a book group meeting next week. 

Feeling so sad and distressed for the people of Nepal.
