MMRF

Every year since 2001 the Multiple Myeloma Research Fund holds annual races in nine cities across the country.  My sister Carolyn, who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma last year, participated in the Boston event today.  MM is a pretty rare and (as of now) incurable malignancy of the plasma cells and bone marrow. The MMRF is a non-profit raising awareness and funds for MM research.
