Some Days

Sunlight on the Campion

It was so nice to see the sun again today. It has been dull all week, and yesterday was rain from start to finish.

Today was back to T-shirt for work weather here in East Lothian, and then a trip to Eyemouth for fish and chips, and ice cream.

I do love to see red campion, Silene dioica in the early summer. It is a real splash of colour after the yellows and green of spring grassland and verges.

I really like this bigger!
