Not What I Intended Blipping

Today we headed to Wallington a NT property that we love.  It’s not about the house for us – just the grounds.  We always go on the same walk, past the dragon heads, down through the woods, via the ponds, through the walled garden and then down through the field and over the stepping stones for the lovely riverside walk.  This then takes us to some more ponds and the three adventure playgrounds which BB enjoys.

We’ve been disappointed by the café a number of times so tend to avoid it now.  Instead we headed to the café at Belsay for a very nice  late lunch.  I had lunch envy as BB had chosen poached eggs on toast which looked delicious.

We looked around the house at Belsay and then walked through the quarry garden to the castle.  BB was doing an Alice in Wonderland trail, which involved finding clues which were located beside bendy mirrors that distorted your image.  We laughed a lot!  It was a nice day out!

Here is a flower in the greenhouse at Wallington.  I wanted to blip something else, but it was in portrait format and blip kept changing the orientation when I was uploading.  What is going on?
